We mourn the demise of Anglican Wanderings, the Anglo-Catholic blog that always set the pace.
It had splendid content, good pictures and a restless and searching tone that tried to make sense with integrity of the paradox of contemporary Anglicanism. Anglo-Catholic blogging is made less by this sad departure.

The Peterite blog churns on after nearly three years. This was never an agenda blog, nor an opinion blog and certainly not a theological discussion forum, it was never intended to uber-catholic other blogs or demonstrate a rarefied position of uber-orthodoxy, it might well have done all of these things from time to time, but, it remains the online record of some aspects of life in a downtown inner London Forward in Faith parish.

As I have said before, if you enjoy what we do and say here, please keep reading, if not, then why waste your time and energy hanging round here? This is not an opinion making forum it's just what we did in Wapping this or last week.

Thank you, Father Jones, for maintaining your Blog -- I find it most interesting, especially since our two congregations share similar challenges and enjoy similar "catholic privileges" as the Church Times used to say --
Best to our seminarian, Andy - hope he's proving satisfactory!

Blessings in X and the BVM,
